Japanese Visitors To Hong Kong Down 13th Straight Month In Sept
HONG KONG (Nikkei)--The number of Japanese visitors to Hong Kong fell 12.4% on the year to 90,308 in September, the 13th straight month of declines, according to figures from the Hong Kong government.
Tensions between Japan and China over the Senkaku Islands that sparked anti-Japan demonstrations on the mainland may have contributed to the decline. The weaker yen is also having an impact.
