TOKYO (NQN)--Japan Airlines Co. (9201) said Monday it will buy 31 A350 aircraft from Airbus SAS. Based on the catalogue price, this puts the purchase value at about 950 billion yen.
JAL is aiming to enter the planes into service from 2019. The airline also signed a purchase agreement on options for a further 25 aircraft. The purchase will not affect JAL's earnings for the year ending March.
