Japan Is Now A 'Buy': Abe
TOKYO (NQN)--Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Tuesday morning that Japan is clearly a "buy" at the moment.
Abe made the comment during a meeting for investors hosted by Merrill Lynch Japan Securities Co. He said the government will draw out Japan's maximum potential by taking advantage of deregulatory measures.
Addressing the skepticism among some observers about his economic policies, Abe said investors should increase their investment in Japan, saying the secret to success is to stay half a step ahead of others.
He also played up the importance of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, saying the next seven years will see the Japanese people achieve growth by bringing out the country's true strengths.
