Abe Reiterates Promise To Protect Farming In TPP Talks

TOKYO (Kyodo)--Prime Minister Shinzo Abe reiterated on Monday his pledge to protect Japan's agricultural sector after announcing late last week that Japan intends to participate in the U.S.-led Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade negotiations.
