Abe Vows To Win Upper House Election To End Japan's Divided Diet

TOKYO (Kyodo)--Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who leads the Liberal Democratic Party, pledged Sunday to win a majority in next summer's upper house election to secure control of both house of the currently divided Diet and achieve stable government.
