Govt Estimates Japan GDP To Rise 0.66 Percentage Point By Joining TPP

TOKYO (Kyodo)--The Japanese government released an estimate Friday showing that joining the U.S.-led Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade pact could boost the country's gross domestic product growth by about 0.66 percentage point, or 3.2 trillion yen, more than offsetting any possible negative impact on the farm sector.
