Japan Not Targeting Weaker Yen, Aso Tells Lew

TOKYO (Kyodo)--Japan sought U.S. understanding for Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's economic policies on Friday, stressing Tokyo is not aiming to weaken the yen with aggressive monetary easing that has triggered an outcry from its trading partners.
