Feb U.S. Jobless Rate Falls To 7.7%, Nonfarm Jobs Up 236,000

WASHINGTON (Kyodo)--The U.S. unemployment rate stood at 7.7 percent in February, down from 7.9 percent in the previous month and the lowest since December 2008, while U.S. employers added a greater-than-expected 236,000 nonfarm jobs, the Labor Department said Friday.
