Nikkei Seesaws On Pause In Yen's Decline

TOKYO (NQN)--Tokyo stocks are struggling at the beginning of the afternoon session Monday, with the Nikkei Stock Average climbing about 70 points in the upper-11,600 range.

The dollar rose to the upper-93 yen level in response to pro-easing comments made by Haruhiko Kuroda, the presumptive next Bank of Japan governor. But the greenback fell to the lower-93 yen level, prompting investors to sell stocks to lock in gains.
