Obama Told Abe He Understands China Raised Tensions Over Senkakus

TOKYO (Kyodo)--U.S. President Barack Obama told Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during their summit talks in Washington last month that he understands China has raised tensions with Japan over the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea, sources close to Japan-U.S. relations said Saturday.
