U.S. Budget Woes May Slow Marine Relocation, Scuttle Pacific Plans

WASHINGTON (Kyodo)--Automatic austerity measures that went into effect at midnight Friday are likely to further delay U.S. plans to move thousands of Marines from Japan's Okinawa to Guam, as well as force changes to American military programs elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific region.
