Land Prices Rise At 51 Of 150 Sites In January

TOKYO (NQN)--Land prices rose in January at 51 out of 150 locations across Japan from October, when prices rose in 34 places, according to a quarterly land price report released Tuesday by the Land Ministry.

The report showed that land prices fell in 25 locations, compared with 29 in October. Land prices are bottoming out, as the number of locations in which prices have risen has exceeded the number of spots in which prices have fallen.
