Nissan Returning To Le Mans Race With EV Tech

TOKYO (Nikkei)--Nissan Motor Co. (7201) will strengthen its motor sports business and return to the 24-hour Le Mans race in France next year with a car incorporating electric-vehicle technology, President Carlos Ghosn told a press conference Tuesday.

The automaker will participate in what is considered the world's harshest race with its all-new vehicle as an entry in the experimental "Garage 56" category.
