Nikkei Opens Down On Wall St Losses, Stronger Yen

TOKYO (NQN)--Tokyo stocks fell for the second straight day as the morning session opened Friday, in line with a pause in the decline of the yen and overnight losses on Wall Street.

The Nikkei Stock Average opened at 11,238, down 70 points, or 0.62%, from Thursday's close. The yen strengthened to about 93 against the dollar in overseas markets, weighing on shares of Toyota Motor Corp. (7203), Sony Corp. (6758) and other exporters.
