Estimate Of Size Of Meteor That Struck Russia Raised To 10,000 Tons

MOSCOW (Kyodo)--The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration said Saturday that a meteor, fragments of which struck the Russian region of Chelyabinsk, is estimated to have been 17 meters wide and weighed 10,000 tons before entering earth's atmosphere.
