Subscription Information

• Payment for individual subscriptions is by credit card only (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club cards).
  We regret that it is not possible to accept other cards.
• Once the paid period begins, payment for the subscription period is not refundable.
  All subscriptions are automatically renewed and billed unless cancelled no later than the 14th of the final month of the current subscription period.
• Please note that only one individual subscription account can be registered for each credit card used.
  If you would like to be bill the subscription fees for more than one account to a single credit card, please see Group Subscriptions.

Every subscription includes a trial period of at least two weeks to allow you to evaluate the site before the paid subscription period begins. Registrations made between the 1st and 14th of any given month include a trial period to the end of the current month. Registrations made after the 15th of the month include a trial period until the end of the following month.

If not satisfied, you may cancel at any time during the trial period and your card will not be charged. Cancellations can be made via the Account Details section of the site.

All subscriptions are automatically renewed on the 15th of the final month of the subscription period.  The subscription fees for the next subscription period are billed  at the time of the renewal, unless cancelled no later than the 14th of the final month of the subscription period.

Nikkei.com subscription renewals are processed at a discounted rate, and the renewal rates are as follows.

You can add a Premium Option to your subscription at any time during your subscription period in the Account Details section.  If you cancel your Premium Option in the same you add the option, we will bill you for one month's access (minimum fee).  If you continue to use the Premium Option, the fees for access until the end of the month will be waived and the fees will begin at the start of the following month. Premium Options are automatically renewed each month on the 1st, unless cancelled before the last day of the month.  Access to the Premium Option will be available until the last day of the month in which you process the cancellation.

For example, if you add the Premium Option on April 10th and continue to use the option in May, you will be billed from May 1.  However, if you cancel on or before April 30th, you will be billed the minimum access fee (one month fee) for the month of April.  If you continue to use the option and cancel on June 25, your option access will expire on June 30 and will not be renewed on July 1.

If you cancel your Nikkei.com subscription, the automatic Premium Options renewals will also stop at the end of your Nikkei.com subscription period.

*If you change your subscription plan to include the Premium Option you are currently using to your subscription, your Premium Option access will be included when your new subscription plan begins and you will not be billed separately for the Premium Option.

Group subscriptions can be arranged for two or more users when payment is made by credit card (corporate card).  This arrangement allows multiple accounts to be registered with a single credit card for simplified billing and account management.

We are authorized to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club cards (we regret that it is not possible to accept other cards). We will send a receipt for the group subscription to the relevant person in your organization, if required for your records.

If five or more members of your organization wish to subscribe to Nikkei.com, we can arrange a group subscription with payment via bank transfer. This arrangement allows organizations to maintain control over accounts and all fees are handled in a single invoice.

Pricing is based on the individual subscription plan rates below multiplied by the total number of users and any discounts which apply.

Discounts begin at 10% for 5 to 9 users, 15% for 10 to 19 users, 20% for 20 to 49 users, 25% for 50 to 99 users, and 30% for groups with over 100 users.
Please note that the subscription plan will apply to all users within a group subscription, and discounted renewal rates do not apply to group subscriptions.

*Please note that each person who wishes to use Nikkei.com will need an account, as the sharing of accounts is not possible.

One person from your organization registers on behalf of the group using the appropriate fax-forms based on your preferred payment method (credit card payment or bank transfer payment), which can be downloaded below in PDF format.
Upon receiving the completed subscription forms we will process the subscription and send the login details to your organization's subscription administrator.
