TOKYO (Nikkei)--With Japan in the throes of a once-in-20-years cold snap, winter apparel vendors and drugstore operators have been among the retail sector's biggest stock market gainers.

TOKYO (Nikkei)--Convenience store operators and their suppliers made the most headway toward their full-year operating profit goals in the recent March-November period.
